Bud of Possibility
So I’m not dating right now because I’m still healing from my last relationship, buuuuut I still have crushes from time to time. So I decided to put those feelings to some sort of productive use. Flowers, and plants, and dirt have been on my mind a lot lately, but I promise this one isn’t dirty (you see what I did there… Ok… I’ll see myself out now lol).
I dreamt that you
planted a kiss on me.
And when I woke,
a delicate bud of possibility
had already sprouted up
throughout my mind;
a tender seed
just ready to burst
And take root
within the fertile terrain
of my heart.
If only I had but
a few drops of courage to nourish them…
Who knows
what chances between us could
bloom?
